Welcome to Chomp Champ! This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application Chomp Champ (the "App"). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

Introduction

Chomp Champ is an augmented-reality game that uses the device's front-facing camera to detect mouth and head movements during gameplay. Players catch matching food, dodge non-matching food, build streaks, compete on leaderboards, and can participate in multiplayer battles through Game Center. The App also includes optional sharing features and advertising provided through Google AdMob.

Information We Collect

Information Collected Automatically

When you use our App, we may collect certain information automatically, including:

• Device Information: We may collect limited information about your mobile device, including device type and operating system version.
• Usage Data: We may collect information about how you use the App, including gameplay progress, current level, best streak, high-streak attempt count, training completion, leaderboard activity, battle participation, feature usage, and ad-related interactions.
• Performance Data: We may collect information about how the App performs, including crash information, app errors, and other diagnostic data.
• Advertising Data: When ads are shown through Google AdMob, AdMob may collect and process technical, device, and usage information related to ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention.

Camera and Face-Tracking Information

Chomp Champ uses your device's front-facing camera and Apple's ARKit face tracking features to power gameplay and AR effects in real time.

Chomp Champ processes ARKit face-tracking information, including:

• Face position and pose
• Face mesh geometry used for AR alignment
• Head movement and yaw
• Mouth position
• Jaw opening and closing
• Mouth-pucker measurements

This information is used only for gameplay, including catching matching food, dodging mismatched food, detecting head movement, and displaying AR effects.

The front-facing camera is required for AR gameplay. Face tracking and mouth movement data are used only while the AR session is active.

Chomp Champ does not use face tracking for facial recognition, identity verification, biometric identification, profiling, advertising, or analytics.

Face-tracking data and live camera frames are processed on the device in real time. They are not uploaded to Chomp Champ servers, stored in a cloud database, or shared with advertisers, Game Center, analytics providers, or other players.

Face-tracking values remain in temporary memory only during the active AR session and are discarded afterward.

Information You Provide

When you use certain features of the App, you may provide information that includes:

• Game Center Information: When you connect to Apple's Game Center, we may receive your player ID, display name, avatar or Memoji when available, leaderboard scores, and multiplayer match information to support leaderboards and battles.
• Shared Content: If you choose to use the App's sharing features, the App may generate game-related text and an App Store link that you choose to send through Apple's iOS share sheet.

Photos, Videos, and Screenshots

Chomp Champ does not take, store, or share gameplay screenshots, photos, or videos.

The App's regular Share feature shares only game-related text and an App Store link after the user chooses to use Apple's iOS share sheet. No camera image, face data, or video is included.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App
• Operate AR gameplay
• Detect catches, dodges, jaw movement, mouth movement, and head movements
• Display AR effects
• Save gameplay progress locally
• Save current level, best streak, high-streak attempt count, training completion status, and local preferences
• Operate leaderboards and submit eligible scores to Game Center
• Operate multiplayer battles and match state updates
• Enable optional sharing of game-related text and an App Store link
• Develop new products and features
• Monitor and analyze usage patterns and trends
• Detect, investigate, and help prevent misuse or fraudulent activity
• Respond to your comments and questions
• Deliver advertisements and measure ad performance
• Improve app stability and functionality

Chomp Champ does not sell face data or use face data for targeted advertising.

Data Stored on Your Device

Chomp Champ may store certain gameplay information locally on your device, including:

• Current level
• Best streak
• High-streak attempt count
• Training completion status
• Local game preferences

Face-tracking data, raw camera frames, photos, videos, and screenshots are not stored as persistent app data.

Local gameplay data may remain on your device until you remove the App, clear its data, or reset the relevant local storage.

Third-Party Services

Our App integrates with the following third-party services:

Apple ARKit and Camera Access

The App uses Apple's ARKit and camera frameworks to support real-time face tracking gameplay. Face tracking is processed on-device during the active AR session only. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy.

Apple Game Center and Battle Mode

We use Apple Game Center for leaderboards and real-time multiplayer battles. Game Center may provide your player ID, display name, avatar or Memoji when available, leaderboard scores, and multiplayer match information.

Battle mode may transmit gameplay information such as player names, scores, strikes, match status, and game events between participating players through Game Center. Face-tracking data, camera frames, and mouth measurements are not sent to Game Center or other players.

Google AdMob

We use Google AdMob to deliver advertisements within the App. AdMob may process device information, advertising identifiers where permitted, app usage information, ad interactions, and technical information required to deliver and measure advertisements.

Face-tracking data, face mesh data, mouth measurements, and camera frames are not provided to AdMob. You can learn more about how Google processes data in the Google Privacy Policy.

Apple Share Services

If you choose to share text created by the App, sharing is initiated by you through Apple's iOS share sheet. The regular Share feature includes only game-related text and an App Store link. The App does not include camera images, face data, or video in shared content and does not control how third-party apps or services process information after you choose to share it.

Third-Party Sharing

Chomp Champ does not share face-tracking data or raw camera frames with third parties.

The App interacts with:

• Apple ARKit for on-device face tracking
• Apple Game Center for leaderboards and multiplayer
• Google AdMob for advertising
• Apple's iOS share sheet for user-requested text sharing

Data Retention

Face-tracking data and raw camera frames are retained only in temporary memory during the active AR session and are discarded afterward.

Gameplay data remains locally on the device until the app is deleted or its data is cleared.

Chomp Champ does not retain face data, photos, videos, or screenshots on developer-controlled servers.

We retain other data we collect for as long as necessary to provide the services you request, or for other essential purposes such as complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements.

You may revoke camera access at any time through the device's Settings app. Without camera access, AR gameplay cannot operate.

Data Security

We value your trust in providing us your information and strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

• Correction: You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information about you.
• Deletion: You may request that we delete your personal information.
• Restriction: You may request that we restrict our processing of your personal information.
