Welcome to aBop! This Privacy Policy explains how Hot Potato Apps ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you use the aBop mobile application and its iMessage extension (the "App"). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in this policy.
aBop stores the information needed to provide its features on your device, including Nudge and Surprise details, notification preferences, and app settings. This information is used to present, schedule, update, and remove the experiences you create. You can remove this information by deleting the relevant item in the App or uninstalling the App.
aBop is designed for use in Apple Messages. The content you choose to send, including Nudge, Surprise, Crossfire, and DRAW messages, is shared with the recipients you select through Apple's Messages service. We do not operate a service that stores your Messages conversation history or your contacts.
When you use cloud DRAW judging, the prompt and drawings submitted for that game are sent to our secure cloud service and OpenAI solely to select a winner and generate commentary. We do not retain the drawings or prompt after processing.
Please do not include personal or sensitive information in DRAW prompts or drawings.
We retain limited security and operational information needed to protect the service, such as secure device-verification records, request identifiers, service timing, and usage information. We use device-security verification to help prevent unauthorized use of cloud DRAW judging; it does not provide us with your Messages content.
Our service providers may process limited technical information needed to operate the App and its services, such as IP address, device and browser metadata, operating system version, request timing, and error information. We use this information to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the App.
You may provide content such as Nudge or Surprise text, DRAW prompts and drawings, and Crossfire game input. That content is used to provide the feature you selected and, when you send it through Messages, is shared with the people in the conversation.
We use the information described above to:
Apple Messages delivers the messages you choose to send. Apple's notification and AlarmKit services deliver local reminders that you enable. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for information about how Apple processes data through these services.
We use a secure Google Cloud service to operate cloud DRAW judging and OpenAI to analyze submitted DRAW prompts and drawings and return a winner and commentary. These providers process this information only to provide the service to us. For more information, please refer to the Google Privacy Policy and the OpenAI Privacy Policy.
Crossfire Blast uses Apple Game Center for player authentication, invitations, matchmaking, multiplayer play, and related game features. Game Center information is handled by Apple to provide those features. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details.
Crossfire Blast may use Google AdMob to show advertisements. AdMob may process device information and app usage information to deliver ads, support measurement, and prevent fraud. Where required, the App presents Google's consent flow before requesting ads. Please refer to the Google Privacy Policy for more information.
Apple processes in-app purchases. We receive purchase-status information needed to provide or restore an entitlement, but we do not receive or store your payment card or other financial details. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for more information.
Content stored locally remains on your device until you remove it or uninstall the App. DRAW images and prompts processed by our cloud judge are not retained by our service after the judgment is completed. We retain limited security and operational records only as long as reasonably necessary to protect the service, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our agreements.
We use commercially reasonable safeguards designed to protect the information we process, including device-security verification for cloud DRAW access. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing. You can also manage App notification permissions through your device settings, remove local App content, and choose not to use cloud DRAW judging.

aBop is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law to consent to the processing of personal information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a manner requiring parental consent.
